About the site

The proposed development site measures approximately 1.33 hectares and is located off the Whiterock Road in West Belfast. The Belfast Metropolitan College previously occupied the site however, part of this building still stands and currently houses the Whiterock Children’s Centre.

This is a prominent site nestled between Corrigan Park, GAA Grounds, Corpus Christi Youth Centre, and surrounding housing. The site overlooks Belfast City Cemetery to the south and provides an opportunity to redevelop a brownfield site that can contribute to the regeneration of the area and deliver much needed housing along with modern community facilities.
